Founded in 2018 by myself, the collective consists of a group of friends who all share a passion for monochrome photography, whether that is digital or film. Once a month the group gets together to share their work and talk about their techniques and ideas in an honest but supportive and constructive way. Some members of the group have worked on specific photographic projects which have then been awarded distinctions from the Royal Photographic Society.
Following the great success of its 2025 exhibition, The Dorset Monochrome Collective is once again exhibiting at the Borough Gardens House Community Room in Dorchester from 14th - 20th September 2026. This time we will each be exhibiting a selection of work based on our own individual interpretation of Wessex.
Here are some examples. Click on the photographers' names to find out more about their work.
